1. What is Third party testing of raw materials.
Third party testing is a method to verify materials and materials grade which is required.
it Could be Done through In-house or Third party testing lab that is why we called this process is third party material testing most of the industries does not have their own testing lab in-house .
2. Why we Need third party testing of material?
if we talk about the verification of material grade and composition.there is no any method to identify it without lab testing . supplier always gives us on MTC (materials test certificate) .
So it is important for any product materials should be as per design and material grade because if material would not be as per specification their application and function would not work .

3. Why is third party testing important For QA/QC ?
if you are from any manufacturing industries you know vary well the verification and Quality of product is responsibility under Quality team or department .
if product will not as per specification then failure of the quality team and product will be not sell .
So main responsibility of Supplier quality that material grade and properties Should be as per specification .
QA and QC both are responsible for it.

4. How will be done third party testing?
For third party material testing need a proper master plan for every raw materials or product and conduct as per plan.
in third party material testing we check the Chemical and mechanical properties of material .
as you know this is not possible with every lot So please defined your testing frequency as per your Company Strength and Size of product .it Should be not more than one year as per ISO and IATF requirements if it is possible then fix your testing frequency at every 3 or 6 month.
after Receive the lab report please verify with the Supplier MTC where Does mention mechanical or Chemical properties.
match the mechanical and chemical composition and verify the report is as per product specification .
