we are going to Discuss Commonly used departments in above industry with their work.

* Production Department
* Quality Department
* Maintenance Department

* Production Department 

Production is the most Important for any Company to Control how much Quantity they will produce of any product , A company may have one or more product .
Basically production department need to man power ,Raw materials and equipment or machinery to produce or make any product . 

So basically production department Convert raw materials to finish goods By the helps of equipment or machines .

* Quality Department

For any Industry most important things is Quality of product which is made by their production team because product is useless if it will not sell or Consumed by Customer So basically Quality team is Focused on the product and process in their Company .

they monitor their product Which is made by production team and ensure to product is defect free and As per Customer needs.

they also monitor the process and working to ensure the Deduct the problem which is faced by Production team and Ensure to product is defect free.

* Maintenance Department

As you know the Maintenance team always work for to service and maintenance of Machines and Equipment  at time of production where most of the machines working day and night to produce any product  then we need Maintenance team for their regular service  and Maintenance for smooth and regular production.
they do the work with some specific equipment their work is so tough, Risky  and hard so before join to maintenance department be ready for hard work .

* HR (human resource)Department

Firstly You Can't work in HR department without Complete your MBA So HR department Maintain and hire the Staff and worker they also Do the regulate the Norms and Rules by other . If you works in HR department you Get the Attention by all members of industry.  

these team also focused on employee Satisfaction and comfort.

* Account Department

As we all know that Account team works for the put the record of  every financial activity and money expend and earn in organisation.for the Account jobs we need to get the Degree in Account /Finance. normally every where Accountant jobs is same whether the Industries are manufacturing or service provided .  

If you Want to work As a Accountant in manufacturing Industries You can just know the basic fundamental which is used every where .

* Production planning and Control Department

In short PPc stand for production planning and control department .

their main work is focused on job or task scheduling which means how much time and when to be start the product manufacturing .they also planed the material resource means Inventory of material .they also planed the estimate of product quantity .

in short a product which is ordered by customer PPC team planned the every things and coordinate with purchase team,production team and sales team.

* Dispatch department

Dispatch team mainly focus on the Delivery and dispatch of materials or product to customer on- time .they also responsible for the product safety during transportation ,vehicle arrangement and scheduling .

*Store Department

the main work in store department is to receive the raw material and issue to production as per work order ,they also maintain the stock record means how much quantity is available of any product or raw materials .they are also responsible to maintain the FIFO system (first In and First out).              

* NPD(New part/product & Development) Department.

NPD department focus on the product development As well as process .As you know every product is made due to NPD team is working on their fitment, function .
product will be feasible to produce or not they work on every thing regarding product before start the production.
these department is same as a R&D but R&D team focus only for new research and development but NPD also work on existing product for their modification .

* Design Department

Design team mainly works on the drawing and designing of product the Draw the Product 2D and 3D view and make a drawing of any product , they also work on the product load capacity their function and properties like a NPD but their main focus on the product Drawing .they used some Software for designing like Auto-cad,Solid works,Catia ,pro-E and so on.

*Sales/ purchase Department

Sale and purchase department works is not same so do not Confuse .basically sales team work on the selling the product and purchase team works on the purchase or buy the product or raw materials.
